As we have learned

Median -

A median of a triangle is line segment joining a vertex to mid- point of opposite side.

mid point of BC is (2,1) 

Thus equation of median AD is 

\frac{y-1}{x-2} = \frac{4-1}{3-2}= 3

y-1 = 3x - 6 

y = 3x - 5
