When heat is given to a substance to raises its temperature from T_{1}\, to \, T_{2}

- wherein

\Delta S= ms \ln \left ( \frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}} \right )

s = specific heat capacity

 

 ds = 2.303 log \left [ \frac{273+327}{273+27} \right ]= 2.303 log _{10}{2} = 0.693
