Option: 1

\mathrm{CuCl}_{2}

Option: 2

\mathrm{BaCl}_{2}

Option: 3

\mathrm{PbCl}_{2}

Option: 4

Answers (1)

best_answer

As we have learnt,

The reactions which lead to formation of white precipitate are given below

2 \mathrm{AgNO}_{3}+\mathrm{BaCl}_{2} \rightarrow \underset{\text { (White) }}{2 \mathrm{AgCl}}+\mathrm{Ba}\left(\mathrm{NO}_{3}\right)_{2}

\mathrm{BaCl_2 + H_2SO_4 \longrightarrow \underset{(White)}{BaSO_4 }+ 2HCl}

Flame colour of \mathrm{Ba^{2+}} salt is green

Hence, the correct answer is Option (2)
