As we have learnt,

The precipitation of Cd^{2+} in presence of H_2S is reversible.

When the concentration of H_2S is greater than 0.5 M, the precipitation is not complete. Concentrated acids dissolve the precipitate for the same reason. 

CdS is only completely precipitated when the acidic solution is made dilute.

Therefore, Option(4) is correct.
