As we have learnt, 

Electron gain enthalpy generally becomes more negative on moving from left to right along a period and becomes less negative on moving from top to bottom down a group.

However, the period 3 elements have a more negative value of electron gain enthalpy than their period 2 counterparts because of smaller size of 2p orbitals which cause inter electronic repulsions.

Thus, the correct order of electron gain enthalpy (with negative sign) is
