While measuring the speed of sound by performing a resonance column experiment, a student gets the first resonance condition at a column length of 18 cm during winter. Repeating the same experiment during summer, she measures the column length to be x cm for the second resonance. Then

Option: 1

36>x>18\; \;

Option: 2

\; 18>x\;

Move it to waves and oscillations

As  \lambda =\frac{v}{n}  \lambda =\frac{v}{n}     \lambda =\frac{v}{n} \:n\rightarrow frequency

On increasing Temp, V increases

So \lambda increases

For \: Resonance \:l=\frac{\lambda }{4} l=\frac{\lambda }{4}

For \:third\ Resonance \:l=\frac{3\lambda {}'}{4}

\lambda {}'> \lambda \: so\: x\: will \:be \: more \: than \: 54
