The landlord asks the tenant to agree to increase the rent to double the previous amount or to vacant the house. The tenant had to agree to give double the previous rent and continue living in the house. He thereafter refuses to pay. Which of the following answers do you think is more appropriate?

Tenant shall not pay the new rent as it is not a free consent and the landlord is in a position to dominate the will of the tenant he uses is position to get the rent able the agreement is void as vitiated by undue influence he would vacate the house only according to the terms and conditions of previous rent agreement. Therefore, option a is correct.
