the company would  terminate the contract with X and ask for compensation of their losses incurred.

x can sue the comapny for giving a deadline.

x will be charged criminally by the comapny.

as the deadlines were not met by X and his team thus ithe right is reserved by the comapny to terminate the contract and if needed to give others. hence option B suits the best.
