Given:

  • The total number of pizzas that Funky Pizzana had to deliver was 800.
  • 70% of the pizzas were to be delivered to Party 3, and the rest were to be divided equally between Party 1 and Party 2.
  • The proportion of thin crust pizzas (T) and normal cheese pizzas (NC) ordered by each party is given below:

Party

T

NC

1

0.6

0.4

2

0.55

0.3

3

0.65

0.35

Based on given data, the below can be deduced:

The total number of thin crust pizzas is 0.375 x 800 = 300

The total number of deep-dish pizzas is 800 - 300 = 500

Party 1 received 120 pizzas, of which 60% were thin crust, so they received 0.6 x 120 = 72 thin crust pizzas.

Party 2 also received 120 pizzas, of which 55% were thin crust, so they received 0.55 x 120 = 66 thin crust pizzas.

Therefore, Party 3 received 300 - 72 - 66 = 162 thin crust pizzas.
