Let ∠1 = 2x and ∠2 = 3x

Clearly, the ray t stands on line l.

∠1 + ∠2 = 180°.     (Linear pair of angle)

or, 2x + 3x = 180°.

x = 36°.

∠1 = 2x = 72°

∠2 = 3x = 108°

∠2 = ∠4     (Vertically opposite angle)

So, ∠4 = 108°

From the theorem

∠4  + ∠5  = 180°

So, ∠5  = 72°
