When water is frozen under high pressure, molecules are trapped its lattice. These compounds are called Clathrates. When Xenon is the molecule trapped, it is called as Clathrates of Xenon. The force of attraction between the water molecules and xenon in the clathrates is dipole-induced dipole interactions.
