Here the students can study their high school subjects in any year of High school (9 to 12 Grades(as per Georgia Department of Education)) as the school offers and/or depending on student's progress, so my daughter has completed her Biology in 9th grade and Chemistry in 10th grade. She will take advanced level Physics , Chemistry and Biology next year in her 12th grade. Now is is preparing for NEET. Can she write NEET next year after she completes her 12th garde?

The eligibility criteria of NEET such as Nationality, age requirement, educational qualification, and the number of attempts limit can be checked below:

  • Nationality: Aspirants who are citizens of India, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and foreign nationals are eligible to take NEET. Since NEET was made mandatory for candidates who wish to study medicine abroad, therefore, such candidates will be required to fill the NEET application form.
  • Lower Age limit is - 17 years
  • Upper Age limit is-  25 years of age or more for unreserved category candidates and 30 years of age for reserved and PWD category candidates. 
  • Required Qualification- 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as a core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board.
  • Required Percentage- UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45%
