1st 7- Pairs are true ribs

      3- pairs are false ribs

and 2 pairs are floating ribs

total ribs pair are (X) = 12 pairs

A  7n the ribs cage ,the true ribs those which are attached to the sternum in the front and vertebral column at back .these are the 7 members.although there are total 12ribs are attached to the vertebral column
