Elements of Phloem -
Sieve element, campanion cells, phloem parenchyma and phloem fibres are four elements of phloem.
The pholem of gymnosperm possess sieve tubes sieve tube elemments which are living and thin - walled. However, it lacks companion cells. This is the major difference between angiosperms and gymnosperms as companion cells are present in angiosperms but absent in gymnosperms.
