calculate equivalent resistance between AB, BC and AC. we get maximum value in AC

\frac{1}{R_1}=\frac{1}{R}+\frac{1}{R}+\frac{1}{R}

 R_1=\frac{R}{3}     &  R_2=\frac{R}{2} .

Hence R_3=\frac{R}{3}+\frac{R}{2}=\frac{2 R+3 R}{6}=\frac{5 R}{6} . \\

 \frac{1}{R_{A C}}=\frac{1}{R}+\frac{2}{R}+\frac{6}{5 R}=\frac{5+10+6}{5 R}

{R_{A C}}= \frac{5R}{21}
