Gymnosperms -

Evergreen, perennial woody trees or shrubs. They are non-flowering plants producing naked seeds.

Reproduction in Gymnosperms -

Pollen grains are produced from microspores within microsporangia. Naked ovules are borne on megasporophyllus and has nucellus which develops into megaspore mother cell.
