Generally, oxoacids in which the central atom is in higher oxidation state are stronger acid but in case of oxoacids of phosphorous the order is just reversed because in \mathrm{H}_{3} \mathrm{PO}_{2} only one ionizable -OH group is present and two and three -\mathrm{OH} group in \mathrm{H}_{3} \mathrm{PO}_{3} and \mathrm{H}_{3} \mathrm{PO}_{4} respectively. Since in \mathrm{H}_{3} \mathrm{PO}_{4} , one \mathrm{-OH} group is there, it has higher tendency to release \mathrm{H}^+ than \mathrm{PO}_{3} and \mathrm{H}_{3} \mathrm{PO}_{4}.
