Change in entropy for ideal gas in terms of Cv -

\mathrm{\Delta S_{system}= nC_{v}\ln \frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}}+nR\ln \frac{V_{2}}{V_{1}}}  

\mathrm{\Delta S=C_{v,m}\ln 2+R\ln \left [ \frac{1}{2} \right ]=\left ( C_{v,m} -R\right )\ln 2}
