Applications of Colloids
1. Electrical precipitation of smoke:
Smoke is a colloidal solution of solid particles (Carbon, arsenic compounds, dust etc). Before the smoke comes out from chimney. It is made to loose charge and get precipitated.
2. Medicines: Most of the medicines colloidal in nature. Colloidal medicines are more effective because they have large surface are.
3. Cleaning action of soaps: Due to the formation of micelles.

Hence option 4 is correct.
