Given, The bus starts from rest. Hence, the initial speed of the bus, u = $0\ ms^{-1}$

Acceleration of the bus, $a$ = $0.1\ ms^{-2}$

Time taken, $t = 2\ min = 2\times60\ s = 120\ s$

(b) We know, $s = ut+\frac{1}{2}at^2$

$\\ \implies s = 0(120) + \frac{1}{2}(0.1)(120)^2 \\ \implies s = \frac{1}{2}(0.1)(14400) \\ \\ \implies s = 720\ m$

Therefore, the distance travelled by bus is $720\ m$
