Given, The bus starts from rest. Hence, the initial speed of the bus, u = 0\ ms^{-1}

Acceleration of the bus, a = 0.1\ ms^{-2}

Time taken, t = 2\ min = 2\times60\ s = 120\ s

(b) We know, s = ut+\frac{1}{2}at^2

\\ \implies s = 0(120) + \frac{1}{2}(0.1)(120)^2 \\ \implies s = \frac{1}{2}(0.1)(14400) \\ \\ \implies s = 720\ m

Therefore, the distance travelled by bus is 720\ m
