Total number of faces of a die = 6

(iii) Number of faces with number '3' = 1

\therefore P(3) = \frac{1}{6}

\therefore P(not 3) = 1 - P(3)

= 1-\frac{1}{6} = \frac{5}{6}

Therefore, required probability P(not 3) is \frac{5}{6}
