(a) The normal force on the floor will be the reaction force due to crew and passengers.

       Using Newton's laws of motion we can write :

                                            N\ -\ m_cg\ =\ m_ca

Thus                                     N\ =\ m_ca\ +\ m_cg

or                                                 =\ 300\left ( 15\ +\ 10 \right )

or                                                =\ 7500\ N

The direction of normal force on the floor will be vertically upward.
