From the equations of motion we can write :

                                                           s\ =\ ut\ +\ \frac{1}{2}at^2

or                                                   400\ =\ 0\times 20\ +\ \frac{1}{2}\times a\times 20^2

or                                                        a\ =\ \frac{400}{200}\ =\ 2\ m/s^2

And the force acting on the truck is given by :

                                                        F\ =\ ma

                                                               =\ 7000\times 2

                                                        F\ =\ 14000\ N
