From the equations of motion we can write :

$s\ =\ ut\ +\ \frac{1}{2}at^2$

or                                                   $400\ =\ 0\times 20\ +\ \frac{1}{2}\times a\times 20^2$

or                                                        $a\ =\ \frac{400}{200}\ =\ 2\ m/s^2$

And the force acting on the truck is given by :

$F\ =\ ma$

$=\ 7000\times 2$

$F\ =\ 14000\ N$
