The nerve system has two different major parts : 1- central nervous system (CNS)

2- peripheral nervous system (PNS)

• The CNS includes the brain and the spinal cord and its sites of information processing and control whereas the PNS comprises of all the nerves of the body associated with CNS.

• All the body sensation and changes in our external environment are relayed from receptors and sense organs to thr CNS to be interpreted, whereas the PNS can be divided into two sub categories:- the sensory system and the motor system.

• In CNS the group of neurons are called nucleic, whereas in PNS the group of neurons are called ganglia.
