Define the Exocrine gland.
Exocrine gland-
The glands which discharge their secretions outside the body through ductal systems are known as exocrine glands. Examples of exocrine glands include the sebaceous glands in the skin, the salivary glands in the buccal cavity, the lacrimal glands near the eye, etc. They perform a variety of functions from digestion to regulating the body temperature.
