Dissociation of K2SO4 is as follows :-

It is clear that 3 ions are produced, so the value of i will be 3.

Molecular weight of K2SO4 = 2(39) + 1(32) + 4(16) = 174u.

                                                \Pi = i\ C\ R\ T

Putting all the values :-

                                      \Pi =\frac{3 \times 25 \times 10-3 \times 0.082 \times 298}{174\times2}

                                            = 5.27\times10^{-3}\ atm
