Given

$f(x)=x ^n + ax ^{n-1} + a ^ 2 x ^{n-2} + ....+ a ^ { n-1} x + a ^n$

As we know, the property,

$f'(x^n)=nx^{n-1}$

applying that property we get

$f'(x)=nx ^{n-1} + a(n-1)x ^{n-2} + a ^ 2(n-2) x ^{n-3} + ....+ a ^ { n-1} 1 + 0$

$f'(x)=nx ^{n-1} + a(n-1)x ^{n-2} + a ^ 2(n-2) x ^{n-3} + ....+ a ^ { n-1}$
