For calculating momentum, we need the final velocity of the bell.

 By equation of motion we can write :

                                                         v^2\ =\ u^2\ +\ 2as

or                                                      v^2\ =\ 0^2\ +\ 2\times 10\times 0.8

or                                                       v\ =\ 4\ m/s

Thus the momentum is :                     p\ =\ mv

or                                                           =\ 10\times 4\ =\ 40\ Kg\ m/s
