Join BC

In \triangle APC\, \, and\, \triangle DPB,

\angle APC\, \, = \angle DPB        ( vertically opposite angle)

\angle CAP\, \, = \angle BDP         (Angles in the same segment)

\triangle APC\, \, \sim \triangle DPB         (By AA)
