A reduced + A’ Oxidised → A oxidised + A’reduced

An enzyme called oxidoreductase catalyses processes involving oxidation and reduction. The transfer of electrons from one molecule (the reductant, also known as an electron donor) to another molecule (the oxidant, also known as an electron acceptor) is catalysed by this enzyme.
