The functions of Thymosins are given below:
Thymosine is secreted by the thymus gland.
Thymosin stimulates the differentiation of T-lymphocytes and provides cell-mediated immunity.
It promotes the production of antibodies to provide humoral immunity as it helps in the development of B cells to plasma cells which produce antibodies.
It also stimulates the rate of cell division in kids and hence promotes growth.
