Given $\frac{-1}{3},\frac{2}{9}, \frac{-4}{3}$

LCM of $3,9\ and\ 3 = 9$.

Therefore, we have

$\frac{1\times3}{3\times3}, \frac{-2\times1}{9\times1}, \frac{-4\times3}{3\times3}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{3}{9}, \frac{-2}{9}, \frac{-12}{9}$

Since $\frac{-12}{9}<\frac{-2}{9}<\frac{3}{9}$

Hence, the required ascending order is

$\frac{-4}{3}<\frac{-2}{9}<\frac{1}{3}$
