Convex Mirror

\\u = - 30 cm \\ f = +15 cm \\ h = 5cm

From Mirror Formula

        \frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{u} + \frac{1}{v}

\Rightarrow \frac{1}{15} = \frac{-1}{30} + \frac{1}{v}

\Rightarrow v = +10 cm

    \frac{h_2}{h_1} = \frac{-v}{u}

    h_2 = \frac{-(+10)}{(-30)} \times (+5)

    h_2 = \frac{5}{3}

    h_2 =+1.66 cm

Nature: Virtual and erect.

Given, convex mirror (diverging mirror)

u = -30 cm

h = +5 cm

f = +15 cm

By mirror formula

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

1/15 = 1/v + 1/-30

1/v = 3/30

v= +10 cm

= h'/h  = -v/u

h'/5 = -10/-30

h' = 5/3

h'= +1.66 cm

Nature = virtual and errect
