Half-life is the time taken for a radioactive sample, that has initially, N0 radio nuclei, to reduce to N0/2.

T_{1/2}=\frac{ln2}{\lambda}=\frac{0.693}{\lambda}

Mean \ life\ T=\frac{1}{\lambda}

N=N_0e^{-\lambda t}

\\At\ t=T=\frac{1}{\lambda}\\\\N=N_0e^{-\lambda \times\frac{1}{\lambda}}\\\\\frac{N}{N_0}=\frac{1}{e}
