b) Due to unequal cell division in budding, there is the formation of a small outgrowth on the parent organism, which is called as a bud and these buds further give rise to new organisms whereas, in fragmentation, the parent cell breaks down into several fragments and then each of the fragment produces a new individual.

c) Because they do not produce viable seeds or seeds which are dormant.
