a) In fishes, blood circulation is called single circulation due to presence of two-chambered heart whereas double circulation is seen in birds due to the presence of four-chambered heart.

b) The blood circulatory system transfers nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body with the help of the heart and the blood vessels running through the entire body. The arteries carry blood away from the heart and veins carry it back to the heart. The system of blood vessels resembles a tree, for example, The “trunk” – the main artery (aorta) – branches into large arteries, which lead to smaller and smaller vessels.
