(a) Causes of hypermetropia are:

(i) Decrease in Size of eyeball.

(ii) Focal length of eye lens is too long / Power of eye lens decreases.

(b) Ray diagrams showing -

(i) a hypermetropic eye

(ii) its correction using suitable optical device.
