A rubber ball thrown against a wall rebounds back. Why is it so.

Rubber ball has energy and the energy cannot be lost. The rubber ball is soft and when it hits on the wall it applies low pressure to the wall and bouns back with almost same kinetic energy (a bit less than the energy with which it hits the wall)
