A sound wave of length 70 cm travels 840 m in 2.50 seconds . What is the velocity and frequency of this wave?

Answers (1)

the velocity of sound =distance/time= 840/2.5 = 336 m/s

Velocity(v)= frequency(f) * wave length

therefor

frequency= velocity/wavelength=336/0.7=480 Hz
