In this situation, squirrel's body starts releasing that hormone that would help her to respond quickly either by running or fighting. squirrel's body starts releasing a hormone that is adrenaline as it is released by the adrenal gland. The hormone is also known as the fight and flight hormone. In such a situation, because of stress, tension etc, its body starts releasing that hormone that would help her to respond quickly either by running or fighting.
