(a) The potential difference ,V , across the ends of a given metallic wire in an electric circuit is directly proportional to the current flowing through it, provided its temperature remains the same

(c) Energy consumed in 1 minute = p*t 

                                                      = 1000 W * 60 s

                                                        = 6000 J  

(d) The resistance between two points at the ends of any diameter of the circle- 

1/RP = 1/R1 +1/R2

R1 = 2.5 ohm 

R= 2.5 ohm 

Hence, R= 2.5/2 = 1.25 ohm
