A survey was conducted on preservation of old buildings and monuments  by Archaeological Survey of India. The survey took place in the old Delhi area. The survey took place in the month of  November, 2020 in the old Delhi area where famous monuments such as Red Fort, Salimgarh Fort and Jam Masjid are present.

The survey involved checking the conditions of these monuments, looking for illegal housing in the monuments, checking the walls, terrace for weatherly damages and stones 's appearance. An annual report was sent to Archaeological Survey of India regarding above parameters for arranging funds for the maintenance of the monuments and buildings.

The disadvantages of this proposal is that during this survey it was not and when renovation process will be going it will not be allowed to go inside the monuments and buildings. These monuments and buildings will be under construction and closed for public viewing. The advantages of this survey was that it will enable budget allocation for the maintenance and improvement of these buildings and monuments. Thus, the survey has its disadvantages and advantages but it's advantages are what we will focus from future and monument's perspective.
