  • The process of Reduction of metal oxides with aluminum powder in which a huge amount of heat is liberated is Known as thermite process
  • Thermit reaction which is used to join railway tracks or cracked machine parts.
  • Thermit reaction  is the reaction of iron (III) oxide with aluminium ,  Fe2O3(s) + 2Al(s) 2Fe(l) + Al2O3(s) + Heat
