Given
(L+3)*(frac200L-2)=, Rs, 200
200-2L+frac600L-6=, Rs, 200
On Simplifying,we get
L^2+3L-300=0
L=frac[-sqrt3pm sqrt1209]2=15.885, , meters
Cost of the cable=12.59 Rs/m
