In the poem 'The Brook' by Alfred Lord Tennyson, he explains the traces the life of a brook which means a stream as it emerges from the mountain top and flows down the hills, valleys to empty into the river. He compared human life with the brook and he explains that the human life is similar to the life of a brook. Both a brook and human life are energetic, lively and moves swiftly in the beginning that is in the young age . When a brook slow down it deposit slit, mud and stones which it had carried from above. It passes through forests, landscape, grasslands etc.. experiencing different phases in life. Similar challenges are experienced by human beings at all phases of life.
