Cleanliness is equal to Godliness. The term is used to indicate how important cleanliness is. It was given by Gandhi Ji to show cleanliness, hygiene as traits worthy of inculcating in our life. Cleanliness is related to hygiene practises one follows. There are two types of cleanliness - physical and mental cleanliness.

Physical cleanliness means cleanliness of our body like daily bathing and of our environment such as physically cleaning of our environment.
