best_answer

Asexual reproduction is a type of reproduction that does not involve the fusion of gametes. The alteration does not take place in the chromosomal number. It produces individuals that are genetically identical to the parent plant. Few examples of asexual reproduction are vegetative propagation, fission, budding and many more.
