Define conjunction

Answers (1)

best_answer

A conjunction is a word which is used to join words, sentences or group of words. Some common conjunctions are- and , but, to, both etc.

Example-  I like milk and ice cream. 'And' is the conjunction here as without it the sentence will be broken in two parts as it would become " I like milk. I like ice cream." and would make the context longer.
