Refraction Index : Refractive index of a medium is equal to speed of light in vacum divided by speed of light in a medium.

n=\frac{C}{V}     Where,

                    n = refractive index

                    C = Speed of light in Vacuum

                    V = Speed of light in medium

n=1.5

V=2\times 10^{8} m/s

C= ?

Then , C= n\times V

            C= 1.5\times 2\times10^{8}=3\times10^{8}m/s

Speed of light in vacuum is 3\times10^{8}m/s
