Determine the current flowing through a conductor if 10^18 electrons are moving through it in 12 millisecond .

Answers (1)

Current, I = q / t
q = number of electrons * charge of electron = ne

given,

n = 1018 electrons
e = 1.6x10-19 coulomb
time = 12x10-3 second
current = 1018 x 1.6 x 10-19 / 12 x 10-3
            = 0.133 * 102 ampere
